New Problem

“This place…” Denise spat back at him, “…will never be my home.”

“Hmmm. Well then…” Damian shrugged as if her words meant nothing to him, “If you don’t mind, please spare us a little drop of blood. After everything is confirmed, we’ll figure out what to do with you and where you stand. Can you be a little patient, dear sister?”

That same night, somehow, things ended up very different from what Denise initially planned. Her and Jaxson did not leave. Or rather, they couldn’t leave…all because of him. Damian.

It wasn’t long after the exchange that guards suddenly rose up out of nowhere and in moments, they were surrounded. There was no way out of it, and she couldn’t take it up with the Queen for she remained as silent as a mouse throughout it all. Not one word had left her lips. Was she even capable of holding a conversation in that pitiful state?

With things as they were…Denise had nowhere to run.
