Her arm stung just as the whisper met her ears and her eyes drifted down, spotting a black mark emerge onto her skin. It burned hotter as it swirled on her arm, forming what looked like a teardrop.

“One who desires strength but is crippled by a mere breath that touches his skin. One who’s hunger for power shall destroy his sanity and devour him to his very bones.
