Deimos POV Elizabeth’s parents, Osiris and Willow, hold their breath while my anger fills the room. Willow tries to move Elizabeth out of the path of my anger, but Elizabeth refuses to move. Deimos POV Elizabeth’s shoulders are slumped over in the passenger seat of the car on the way back to the hotel. She is staring out of the window with tears freely flowing down her cheeks. Liz POV I fell asleep in the comfort of Deimos’s arms last night. After I confessed that I loved him, I expected him to make love to me again, but he didn’t. Liz POV The car’s tires rumble on the gravel of the pack house driveway, and it awakes me from my sleep. My head bounces uncomfortably on the car’s window. I must have slept the whole ride back to the Dark Moon Pack. Night has already fallen. The pack house is dark except for the front porch. Two dark figures are waiting on the porch for us to arrive. I don’t have to squint through the darkness to know it is Nico and Damon waiting for me. Deimos gets out of the car and limps toward the pack house with his cane.
