Jackie was a discrete creature by nature. She did not boast about her accomplishments or personal conquests. But this time – she had to. The next morning she told Jodi, Barbara, Becky, Trina, and Gabriella what had happened behind the station last night.

The girls whaled with laughter.

“I can’t believe you did that,” Gabriella said with tears in her eyes. “That sounds like something I would do.” She continued to laugh.

“That’s what he gets,” Becky said with a smirk. “You’re not rigid. You’re detail oriented. That’s why this place runs as smoothly as it does.”

Barbara and Jodi were still laughing.

“I don’t know what’s funnier. That guy getting pissed when you started moaning Curt’s name or you calling him out afterward,” Gabriella said. “What was his name again?”

“Nick Dalton,” Jodi answered between laughs. “Oh, sister, I always tried to warn people not to get on your bad side.”

Jackie beamed proudly. “Yes, I have to say I handled both men with accurate precession.”
