Callox's POV:

After I sent my trusted subordinates to look for Riley and Kayla, Rayell and I once again walked around the royal palace to look for them, but we still couldn't find any trace of them.

"What the hell are you saying ?! You can't find them?" I yelled at a guard that was trembling at my feet.

"I'm sorry Alpha, we would soon find them."

The worried look on Rayell's face made me feel sorry for her, but I knew that no matter how hard I tried to comfort her, it wouldn't be of any help.

I wanted to comfort her to be by her side when the darkness comes. She was like for a reason and I was going to let her feel safe.
