Aiden's Point of View

Yeah, let's both calm down first and just talk later again when we are both okay.

When I opened the rooftop door, I was surprised to see the three standing there. They almost fell which startled me. Did they stick their ear on the door to hear what we were talking about?

"Are you done talking?" Yuan asked.

"We didn't hear anything, promise!" Jacob promised. He actually raised his right hand as if swearing. As if I would believe him.

"Let's go eat ice cream, Aiden," Hans smiled. He came to me and pulled me out of there without a word. I almost tripped because of how fast he ran. No one is even chasing us.

"Wait, Hans!" I pulled away from him when I felt short of breath.

"Shh! It’s my treat, okay? Just join me for ice cream, because I suddenly craved it," he replied.
