Aiden's Point of View

Cynthia and I waited another thirty minutes until Wyatt finished eating. They were laughing as they left the dining room, obviously not noticing my presence with Cynthia.

I bit my bottom lip when I saw where Wyatt's hand was. When I looked away from his hand and just looked at his face, I saw that he was also staring at me. He looked stunned when he saw me, even the smile on his lips disappeared.

"Wyatt, what's wrong?" Agleen asked. After that, he followed where Wyatt was looking and that's when she noticed me. She smiled and waved at me, "Hello, Wyatt's friend!"

I faked a smile, "Hello."

"Tsk. I just heard her voice and I immediately got annoyed," Cynthia whispered.

I stood up and approached them. Cynthia followed me.

"Wyatt, can we talk?" I asked, looking directly into Wyatt's eyes.
