I was shell shocked, standing and watching the scene unfold before my eyes.

Daniel, standing beside Emma, took the jewelry from the wooden box and placed it around Emma's wrist. My anger surged within me like a torrent, a powerful emotion that I could no longer contain. This was my mother's memory, a part of my family's history, and it had been given away without my consent. To the person I hated the most in my life.

Unable to bear the sight of my mother's bracelet on Emma's wrist, I roared with a mixture of frustration and grief. My voice filled the room, commanding attention, “Give back my bracelet, or be ready to feel my wrath,” my words were a forceful demand that cut through the tension in the air.
