Chapter 60 Broken Heart

I was sitting anxiously in the same position in which Logan left me. But that didn’t mean I was sitting ideally. I was trying to break free, but if only it was that easy.

I heard a sound coming from outside and I halted whatever I was doing. I wanted to come as helpless and not some fierce wolf.

Lizzie returned, and I watched with a mixture of confusion and dread as she set up a table and a TV in front of me. My heart raced as I wondered what torment she had in store for me now. She turned to me with a sinister smile and said, "Werewolves have committed many sins over the centuries, Grace, and now it's time for atonement."

I stared at her, a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, as the TV screen came to life, and Xander's familiar face appeared. My heart ached at the sight of him, and I felt a pang of despair when I saw Emma, sitting in his lap, trying to seduce him. My voice quivered as I whispered, "No, Xander..."
