Chapter 61 Irony

The person was none other than Logan.

A wave of relief washed over me as I watched him coming toward my cell. But I was a little shocked to see him here, especially after the poison Lizzie had injected into him. Also when she told me that Logan was as good as dead, I thought she was able to subdue him.

But that might not be the case, because Logan was standing in front of me, looking at my busted head he came toward me, his desperation and determination evident in his eyes. He attempted to break the chains restraining me, but the metal held firm. Frustration marred his face.

“Y..Yo..You can’t do this with your bare hands. The poison that Lizzie gave you was potent and had made your wolf a little weak. We have to do this the old-fashioned way. Go find some tools.” I said, my voice still raw, but I managed to form some sentences.

He looked at me, hesitating to leave me alone but then nodded, thinking that this was the only viable option for us, if we wanted to get out of this miserable
