Chapter 31

"Are you happy now? Are you?" I angrily said. I slapped Rodrigo's chest. I felt so heavy as if I was being crushed by everything that had happened. I married Rodrigo even though I didn't want to. And now Bruno was dead. Bruno died because of me! Rodrigo held onto my wrists and stopped me.

"Stop it!" Rodrigo shouted. My whole body trembled, but I tried to gather my courage.
