I woke up to the smell of bacon and coffee, and immediately wanted to go back to sleep. My head was pounding, and my mouth was dry. I looked over at who was in bed with me, and I was relieved to see Rose and Kam. I looked around the room, and realized it wasn’t mine. It was Mary’s. The previous night came back to me in full force. Now I really wanted to go back to sleep. I can’t believe I got drunk and sang karaoke. In front of the choir geeks. Their poor ears! Kimi, Kam, and Rose left around eleven thirty. Jimmy, Saoirse, and I finished cleaning the house. It was the one condition Ma had for my parties. I could run my fake bar, but I was in charge of cleanup after. Including washing her sheets. I think it’s why she lets me have the parties in the first place.
