CHAPTER 32: HER UNCERTAINTY

I watched as she walked around, exploring the house I owned in Hampton.

The balcony offered a view of the beach, and the constant salty air added to the ambiance.

Natasha. I'm starting to fucking enjoy how her name rolls off my tongue.

She stood on the balcony, her porcelain skin seeming to glow as the orange light from the setting sun illuminated her. Her silky blonde hair danced in the wind, along with her flowy dress that fluttered softly.

"You had me fooled," she said when I joined her by the banister. "I should've known. You rent a room at a resort worth more than a year of my salary at the diner, and now I find out that you own a multi-million dollar beach house here in Hampton."

Her gaze was fixed on the scenery, but for me, the most interesting sight was her face.

Damn, she's a beautiful woman.

"You're beautiful," I said, voicing what my mind had been telling me about her.

She seemed to forget how to speak and chose to look away from me.

"Look at me, Natasha." I gently
