Chapter Fifty

An hour en route to Ramoha, we started growing cold about everything.

So many ambivalent thoughts began to slip into our heads through the windows we unknowingly created; doubt, fear and anxiety. We couldn't picture a future after Ramoha, it felt like the beginning of the end as Claudia and Shalonian's future where in our hands.

But I brought our minds together, made everyone to take a deep breath and exhale as many times as possible our morbid thoughts away with it. Then, we said our war prayers before the last navigation, bringing us up above water.

Ready as expected, we marched stealthily into Karl's HQ, but unfortunately, there were uncountable number of armed soldiers scattered around, alert and enthusiastic.

"This was not the plan guys. Julius promised that they wouldn't be this much."

Mercury whispered.

"There was never a plan. I only speculated."
