CHAPTER SIXTY THREE

VICKY’S POV

Richard and I moved through the hallway of the Dewitt mansion, with Cara following along.

Cara reached towards her suite, turned to her left, and paused. “Are you ready to witness the most beautiful portrait you have ever seen?”

“Yeah,” Richard grumbled out, making me roll my eyes, knowing he was curious to see what Mother had to show us.

Giggling like a ten-year-old, Cara opened the door to her room. “Here we are.” She brought us in while rubbing her palms together. “There it is.” She points toward the portrait.

Richard and I eyes trialled to look to where she was pointing, and my breath caught, looking at the portrait right in front of us. Every detail was captured so well that I had to blink to make sure it was real.

“It’s beautiful, right?” Cara asked. Beautiful was an understatement for such mastery; little art could compare to such brilliance.

“Oh my God!, Mom,” Richard said, absolutely stunned like I was. I couldn’t believe my eyes, and I just stood there staring at
