CHAPTER 31: WEDDING GOWN

KEVAH'S POV

So here we are, inside my mother's house with Manny. We are here to tell her and Adrian that we are getting married.

It is the twins' idea. They claimed that if I got married without Mama's blessing, then I'd never forgive myself. So as I said, here we are sitting in Mama's living room, waiting for Adrian to convince her to come out of her bedroom and face us. I can hear their hushed tones growing louder. Adrian must have won the argument because I see Mama coming downstairs toward us.

My body shivers, and Manny squeezes my palm tighter. “Don't be nervous, Principessa, it will all be OK.”

I just nod my head and blew out the breath I was holding. Mama is wearing her dockers pants with a caramel flip-flop and a neat white crushed blouse is stuck inside the waist of her pants, accentuating her slim figure.
