Banished

Xevia's POV

I looked back at my omega-best friends, Shea, Ivanna, and Luvia, who knew the truth. But none of them had any intention of defending me.

None of them dared to look me in the eye, all bowed down and hiding behind the shadows of those who hated me.

They have proven to be the worst people. They knew everything about Alarick and me, which was why I felt so miserable most of the time since Alarick betrayed me. My mind began to spin, and all I had to endure for the past few days were memories of being taken advantage of.

I headed back to where Alarick was, but I no longer found him there. The man was gone. He had disappeared.

"Throw her out! Get her out of here! That Omega slut doesn't belong in a dignified pack like ours. She belongs with a bunch of rogues!"

"Banish her!"

"Get rid of her!"

"I'll kill her by myself!"

That voice..., the familiar voice, it was the only person who could put fear deep inside my soul. The man had appeared suddenly in front of me as if appearing from thin air. He had his arms folded, and his face was stone cold. His dark grey shirt fitted his frame perfectly, highlighting each curve and line. My heartbeat quickened, and my legs started trembling under the pressure of his gaze

It was him!

His expression hardened, and he walked towards me slowly, without uttering a word.

I couldn't breathe; my mouth had wholly dried up. Everything around me seemed frozen for the time being. The world had stopped spinning, and the noises outside faded away. There was nothing left for me to do except look at him.

"Alarick, you're not kidding, right? You're not going to kill our baby and me, are you?" I asked in a pleading tone. I asked like a fool hoping to feel the warmth of the sun in the middle of a snowstorm.

Alarick grinned, a horrible grin I had never seen before, "Our baby? What are you saying? You must be dreaming. I know you like me a lot. But please, don't do this cheap drama so you can have me."

I closed my eyes tightly and breathed in sharply. He had lied! He didn't love me. He didn't give a shit about me!

All the blood drained from my face. My body froze as a wave of shock ran through me. He was the Alpha's son! I had been foolish to trust him!

Alarick held a knife to my neck. He was going to kill me.

"Stop, Alarick, please!" I screamed hysterically. I tried to shake his hand off my neck, but he wouldn't allow it. Tears poured down my cheeks, and I squeezed my eyes shut. Every single part of my body burned as if it was on fire. I knew there was a high chance of dying if he stabbed me.

"Just let her go!" I heard the sound of a slap coming from behind Alarick.

Then I saw another hit, followed by a third. It was Domani Ivyari, Alarick's oldest brother. He was slapping him! He then shoved Alarick to the ground.

He fell to my knees, unconscious on the floor. He still had blood flowing down the side of his mouth from the slap he got.

"Get Xevia out of here, pack all her belongings, and throw her out of our territory," Domani ordered several omegas to drag me out of there.

The boys nodded their heads and helped drag me out.

It was all happening so fast and quickly that I didn't know what to do. I didn't even dare to touch Alarick for fear that Domani might stab me with his blade. I just stared at him on the floor until they carried me out. I wanted to say something to him, but no words left my lips.

Only the tears rolled silently down my cheeks.

"Sorry Xevia, we can't help you," said one of my friends, Stan. They left me in the middle of the dark, forbidden forest known as the hideout of the most dangerous rogues. And then, they were gone, leaving me alone in the darkness.

***

A short time passed before I heard a low growl from nearby. I could sense the presence of a black wolf stalking me from a distance. He was staring at me through the gaps in the trees. The wolf was a male black wolf, his body stocky and muscular. His size was too big even for an alpha. What kind of wolf is that? My mind wondered.

I saw the wolf staring at me intently. It stood there motionless for a few moments as if waiting for something. Then the wolf started walking towards me slowly; I could see brown patches and some scars on one side of its face

"Who are you?" I whispered.

He continued to stare at me as he slowly walked closer to me and stopped when he was only a few meters away. He looked down at me and sniffed my scent, trying to recognize me.

I was so scared. I feared the beast in front of me would kill my unborn child and me. Yet he continued to stand in front of me, not moving. He barked softly like a dog obeying its master.

My fingers brushed gently over his nose as he sniffed around.

"You are very friendly. Do you always behave like this to strangers?" I asked.

He let out a low roar in response, showing me that he was not an evil creature and that he liked my company.

"What's your name?" I wondered.

He raised his head and opened his jaws wide. I quickly covered my ears when its sharp fangs came close to my ears. Suddenly, he pulled me and bit the flesh of my forearm.

"No! No!" I screamed while clenching my fists. I tried struggling, kicking him hard, screaming, and pleading for him to stop. But my efforts were useless. His strong jaws wrapped tighter around my arm, sucking and tearing my flesh.

I shrieked continuously to break free from his grip, but he didn't move an inch. But suddenly, I saw him trembling from the effort.

He finally let go of me after what felt like hours. He stepped backward away from me with his mouth slightly open. He was panting, and his tongue stuck out of his mouth, covering half his face.

After a while, he stood up straight and transformed into human form, more precisely, a man.

"I'm sorry, I .... me," he stammered.

That's all I remember because after that, my vision became blurry, and I lost consciousness.
