Chapter 10 - Hannah

“It wasn’t your fault, you know that right”, I say to him feeling his sadness, mixed with guilt.  I can feel his hurt and I want to take it away.  I can, but that would never truly heal him.  It would all come rushing back out of nowhere.  A memory, something familiar that reminds him of the thing causing him pain will have it all come rushing back with a fury.  It would be worse, cruel even.  He lowers me back down so that I am standing in front of him.
