A BURNING IN MY HEART

IVA yelled as she tried to put out the flame that had caught on her skin and burnt her arm. The ugly red scar on her arm burned like crazy, pain and agony writhing in her veins. She had used her right arm to block her face from the blast, it was the only form of reflex she could muster. She screamed and took her eyes up to view the attacker but he had a ski mask on so she couldn’t tell much about his face. His build however was smaller than the other guy, he stood clad in boots, feet shoulder-width apart and arms balled in fists taking an attack stance. His eyes were lit like torches as a reason for his power to awaken. “Who are you?” he asked and the girl in a ski mask came to view, she was curvy and had a cut out for her ponytail, her eyes were not visible because of the darkroom, but her countenance seemed nonchalant. Her hips swaying as she moved towards Iva, she leaned in. “Be careful, you don’t know what she is”. The man warned.
