Patrick's P. O. V

I stared at Sylvia as she continued crying. Shuddering, I began talking.

" What are we going to do now?" I asked gently and Sylvia looked up at me, her eyes watering.

" I don't know...." She forced out, her voice shaking. " I don't know anyone else. And even if I try to use an outside donor how am I so sure we'll find him on time? " She asked and broke down further, sobbing loudly.

I glanced at Alex, swallowing.

" What do we do now?" I asked quietly.

" I don't know... " He whispered back.

Alex's P. O. V

When I arrived home, I met my mom already waiting for me. I sighed and greeted her, hugging her tightly.

" What happened? Why do you look so sullen?" She asked and I breathed out, running a hand through my hair.

" It's Sylvia's mom..." I began.

" What about her? "

" Well... Sylvia submitted herself for a test and she wasn't a match. Now we don't know where we would find a match for her mom before time runs out. "
