Thirty -seven

KIARA'S POV.

I wonder if my life has always been like this. It's still my second day staying at my boyfriend's house, and yet it seems like forever. I talk to the pieces of furniture, and they glare back at me. blaming me for what I have done to myself.

I am so sure I never wanted this. Even though the doctor insisted that we live together since we already know each other, claiming that it will help me recover quickly, I gladly accepted. He was the first and only person to come see me at the hospital. I guess that was because he paid for the bill.

My arrogant billionaire boyfriend rarely stays at home. I once asked him how we got to know each other, but he replied that my cooking skill attracted me to him and that he doesn't have many people at home, so he decided to employ me for a full-time job. It was then that I understood everything. I would have long since run away, but his looks captured me back. How silly could I ever be?
