Chapter 2

"Warren, give Raven a position in our company." My Father looked at me without emotion.

In those words... it made an impact on me. How selfish could he be? How selfish will my father do this to me?

"He is not part of the family." I also looked at him without emotion.

If only he knew what Raven did to me! They all betrayed me!

Raven's mom shrugged and grinned at me, making my jaw drop.

"Warren!" Dad raised my voice. "Raven is your brother!"

I scoff at those words, "Brother? Then, why did he fuck my girlfriend then? If he's my brother, he will know his boundaries! He will never betray the trust that he earned to me before!" I shouted.

"Son, maybe your girlfriend doesn't really love you that's why Raven got your girlfriend right away," my Step-mother said calmly but sarcastically.

"Just like how you got my father?" I sarcastically answered that stop her from talking.

"Warren!" Dad shouted so I struggled and gasped. "How long are you going to embarrass me, huh!? My new wife is your mother and Raven is your brother!"

My jaw clenched at the word mother. Mom died less than a year ago but here he has something new! Even after Mom's funeral, he brought these people to our house!

Did he just take the dead flowers and replace them with new deadly flowers?

"Mother? I will never ever want her to be my mother," I said emphatically, stopping Dad. "The Mom I have is dead and she," I pointed to his new wife. "She just waits for my Mother's death so that she can live in this Mansion that my Mom built for us!" I shouted loudly.

I gripped my fist tightly as if I wanted to break it apart. He's so unfair... he's unfair to me. How the hell can he look at Raven's eyes with father's love and look at me with the cold emotion that he has?

Why the hell he can replace my mother so easily? How can he replace me with an unknown son!? He hasn't been with Raven since he was a child but here he is! Raven is considered a child as if it was his  blood! As for me being his blood he can't take care of me!?

"This house was built by my mother for us but in the end this house ended up for someone who is not of your blood to live in," I said and stopped crying. I'm so done with crying.

Tears became my weakness. Showing the pain with them will only lead to my downfall so I refuse to do that. I will never ever cry in front of someone. They would just hurt me, trampled me and they would use it to hurt me again. I don't want to be in so much pain again.

"How can you be so immature, Warren?" He looks at me with disappointment but I'm more disappointed in him!

"How can you replace my mother so easily, Dad?" I asked him to take back my question. The question that I wanted to ask him since day one.

"The dead will never come back, Warren. Instead of grieving from the pain of losing someone important to me, I just find a new happiness that will lead me to the end." He raised his eyebrows and smiled at me like nothing happened.

That my mother's death was nothing to him.

I find the answer that I want to ask him. So this is the answer that he gave to me? The answer that he gave to me is the one who cut the ties between us.

I no longer want him to be my Dad. If he easily cuts ties with my Mother then I will do the same thing to him.

I didn't say a word and walked straight to him because now... now I was severing any connection I had with my own father. He will only stay here because this house was given to him by Mama.

"The Company is mine and the decision will be mine as well." I walked up the stairs while speaking. "I refuse to give Raven the position you want," I said coldly.

When I entered my room, I lay down on the bed and covered my face with my two hands.

I bit my lower lip as I recalled my Mother's face. I miss her. I miss my mom so much. Why do you have to die and leave me alone, Mom?

"Why did you leave me all alone, Mom?" I muttered as I completely drifted into dreams because of tiring day.

When I woke up, I immediately fixed myself so that I wouldn't see them.  Even though I left the house very early so that I wouldn't see their disgusting faces.

Carrying the black hand shoulder bag, I went to the Bakery and coffee shop of my twin friends.

And just like what I thought, the twins is in the Bakery shop.

"Yow, Bro Warren! Good morning, Idol!" Linux went to me while he was on the apron.

"Good morning, Warren." Luxian nods at me which I nod back.

They have been my best friend since elementary school and I cherish them the most because they were with me when I was grieving so much.

There was no one in the bakery and I was the only customer because it was still early. If you are wondering what their full name is.

These are Linux Arche and Luxian Arche. They are both model and also manage a lot of bakeries in this country.

They are both handsome but they don't have the same attitude. Linux is very cheerful and extroverted while Luxian is introverted and has a cold personality.

Luxian was only dragged into modeling because of Linux. They are easily popular because of their appearance.

Let me also describe what they look like for you.

Linux Arche has a citrus smell. The height is 6-foot-3, with a perfect jawline and freckled clear skin on the face. She has light chatreuse fox eyes. His pinkish lips and a perfect body built as well as his brother. She has a black curly bowl cut.

While Luxian Arche has a woody scent. The height is 6-foot-4, with a perfect jawline and freckled clear skin on the face. He has Dark chatreuse fox eyes, pinkish lips, average eyebrows and a perfect body with 6 packs abs and V-line like a Linux body. He has black curly mullet hair.

In the time I've been with them, I've memorized their faces. Even their favorite color of clothes I already memorized. Luxian always wears black and white while Linux has many different colors as his dress code.

"I'm getting more handsome, right?" Linux asked so I looked at him. I've been staring at him for a while now. "Look, Xian! Warren has been staring at me for a while now!

I looked at him with deadpanned eyes as my eyes narrowed to Luxian who holds a tray with one pastry and a black coffee. 

"Let's eat breakfast together," I gently suggested making Linux shout yes while Luxian nodded at me.

"What the fuck?! Do you want us to beat up that Raven!? That's pure bullshit! Or, you want me to grab Xeri's hair in return!?" Linux shouted while still having bread in his mouth that I shook my head.

"Isn't it bad, Warren? I bet they have a plan." Luxian took a sip of his coffee so I shook my head and sighed.

"It's not like they can steal something away from me," I said sarcastically because that was impossible.

"That's not good anymore, bro! Do you want to live in our house instead!? Gogo, you have a room there! We made you a room when we built our mansion! There's nothing ugly in our house! That's a promise !" Linux's suggestion made me smile a little.

You're the only ugly in our house, Linux." Luxian blinked and lowered his coffee glass. Linux quickly criticized and said that he is not ugly because he is a model. He said that many girls liked him so I just shook my head.

"Maybe your house is better than my house," I promised. "I'll think about it." I smiled at them which made them both happy.

I said goodbye to the twins and went straight to my Companya. When I'm with those two, I feel pretty good. Must be because we have connections since we were young.

When I opened the office door of my office, I immediately saw Xeri sitting comfortably on my office sofa.

I rolled my eyes and went to my desk, sitting with the swivel chair. Ignoring the presence of her.

"W-warren..." Xeri stood up from the sofa and went straight to me. I just looked at him without emotion.

"What do you want?" I coldly asked and focused on my schedule today that was staying at my desk.

"I-i'm sorry... I just like Raven and forget about you... I'm sorry, Warren," she said and started to cry in front of me.

"Then why are you here when you like him?" I asked again. "Get out! I don't wanna see your face again!"

"Please...give me another chance, Warren."
