The story begins with Hae Jin, a young man who died 6years ago somewhere in the year 2017 and was now a lonely depressed ghost.

In an old abandoned house, Hae Jin could be seen seated on one of the couches in the living, thinking about his life.

The old house was big and very dirty, both inside and outside. All the walls, floors, rooms, everywhere was dirty with cobwebs at every corner. One look, and you're know the house hasn't been clean for years.

The house has always been this filthy even before Hae Jin's arrival. And he testify because he was a witness. When he first arrived here, the house looked just as it did now. Okay, maybe even more filthier now.

So, the house had three bedrooms, with each having bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen. A porch and a large backyard.

Albiet all the furnitures in the house was covered with white cloths, including the couch Hae Jin sat on.

Hae Jin has been trapped in this house since he died 6years ago, he strongly believed this.

And to say this house was abandoned couldn't exactly be true, after all, a woman, who has now aged used to come by the house once in every year.

However, she never came to clean the house or anything like that and her actions has been confusing and bothering Hae Jin a lot. The woman would come once in every year, take a look around the house and just leave. What was up with that?!

Why would she do that? She wasn't blind neither did her eyes have any problem! Hae Jin was sure of this because of what the woman says every time she enters the house, "Wow, it's so dirty. Everywhere is dirty' and he would reply,

"Clean up then, who do you expect to do it?"

Is just a shame she couldn't hear him.

Anyway, he didn't know the woman neither did he know the reason why she comes in once in every year.

He could only guess she comes to remind herself of memories she gained in the house.

Maybe she used to live in the house or maybe someone she knew and cared for used to live here. Whatever the case was, he had no clue of the real reason.

And he might not know the woman or why she came by once every year but he was grateful to her. The first reason why he was grateful to her was because, every time the woman came by, she would bring a new calendar of the year and also leave him food.

He had no clue on why she did that or whether it was done for him or not but it helped him a lot and he was grateful. Come to think of it, he didn't know a lot of things.

Author: Tell me about it.

Author: Sorry, please continue.

The second reason why he felt grateful towards the woman was because, she was the reason why he found out he was dead. Now, that doesn't make sense right? One (A ghost like him) can even say that's not a reason to be grateful for but he was. Even he didn't know the reason and it still confuses him every time he thought about it.

Hae Jin first found out he was dead on one faithful day, when the woman came by and that day was also the first time he met her. The first time he appeared here.

On seeing her, he was glad, excited because he was confuse about what was going on. He had no clue of what happened or why he was here, trapped in the house.

Desperate to find out what happened, he tried to talk to her, touch her and even block the woman's path, thinking she was intentionally ignoring him or something but to his surprise, she walked through him. The woman couldn't hear him neither could he touch her. She didn't see him.

She didn't notice his presence at all.

That day, Hae Jin felt like it was the end of the world for him. He was depressed out of his mind and there was no one around to help him, comfort him, encourage him. There was none. So it confuses him when he feels grateful towards the woman for being the reason why he found out about what he was now.

Why? There he goes again, asking questions he knew he won't get answers to.

*Sigh,..........

Let's continue the story.

Besides the woman, there has never been anyone else who either pay a visit to the house or came by to buy or rent the house. And it has been this way ever since his arrival.

Trap in this house, the one person he has met was the woman who came around once in every year, no one else.

For so many times, he tried getting out of the house but to no avail. He was always sent back either slamming against the dirty walls to the dirty wooden floors or he was sent back on his two feet.

Usually, it depends on the amount of strength and speed he used to pass through the front door of the house.

There was something, a strong force, a barrier at the door which was preventing him from leaving.

And it wasn't just the front door but the back door and the windows as well. He couldn't escape through any of them. He was literally trapped in the house and every time he tried getting out, he was reminded of this.

He was now fed of trying to leave!!

Okay, maybe he was fed up of getting threw back like a piece of trash every time he tried escaping. Right, that was it.

*Sigh, he sighed, looking up at the dirty wooden ceiling which had cobwebs all over.

Who was he? What was he? No answer  comes to mind no matter how many times he thought about it. Hae Jin had no memories of when he was alive.

The only information he knew about himself was his given name, age (24) and when he died (6years ago). Well, he came to know when he died because of the calendar which existed on the day he first appeared here. He strongly believe it was the same day he died.

Hae Jin had no reasons or whatsoever, however, he felt it deep within himself.

Apart from all that, he knew nothing else about himself. His family, surname, friends or how he died.

And he must say,

Right now, he was bored out of his mind!!!! He wanted someone to talk with! Someone to laugh with! But there was no one besides himself!

And like he said before, he hasn't seen or heard another voice in the house besides the woman and himself, when once in a while he would scream out like a crazy person just to keep his sanity.

Trap in this forsaken house with no one around besides himself, his sanity was definitely on line. That's if ghosts even had one.

*Sigh, he sighed again.

It wasn't like he hasn't heard voices of other people, he has. Just that, they were voices of people passing by and not coming into the house.

And at the moment, he was angry, at the fact that he couldn't go out and was trapped in this house. Sad, depressed, bored and very lonely because he had no one to talk with.

Life as a ghost, was hard for him.

"Help!! Help!!" An unfamiliar voice yelled out. Sounding frustrated and terrified. Judging by the voice, it was that of a female's.

Almost immediately, Hae Jin got up, looking around as if he heard the voice in the very room he was in but that wasn't so.

Was he hallucinating? Delusional? Was he finally losing his mind?

A voice, he just heard a voice! It could be someone passing by, even so, he couldn't help but be curious and anxious to find out. Whether he was imaging things or he really just heard a voice.

He didn't want to get his hopes up but it was out of his control. He could feel hopes building up within himself.

"Help!!! Someone please!!" The voice came again, however, this time, Hae Jin could tell the person was around the house he was trapped in.

Determined, excited, eager and anxious to know who it was that was shouting out for help, Hae Jin rushed to the front door, thinking of going outside to see who it was and maybe help this person, totally forgetting he was trapped in the house and couldn't exit out.

Reaching the front door, this time, Hae Jin didn't get the chance to exit and get threw back like a piece of trash because the door suddenly opened, shocking the hell out of him.

He watched as a beautiful young woman with long dark-black hair and brown eyes entered, closing the door as fast as she entered before facing it (The door), breathing heavily and still shaking in fear.

Hae Jin could only see her back profile but he could also see how terrified she was.

The woman wore a long flowery white dress and black shoes but Hae Jin wasn't paying attention to how she was dressed. He was more concern about who she was.

Was this woman human? Or a ghost just like him? Hae Jin didn't know neither did he know what he hoped for.

Should he hope for the woman to be human or a ghost like him?

What should he expect? Being human meant the woman would not be able to see him, touch him, hear him, however, being a ghost would be the opposite, right?

Suddenly, the woman sighed in relief, bringing Hae Jin back to reality. He watched the woman attentively as she begun to relax, trying to get her breathing back to normal.

Succeeding, *Sigh, the woman sighed again in relief, "I'm glad I was able to get away. Or else I will........" The woman said the last words while turning around. Her words immediately cut off the moment she turned, facing Hae Jin.

And for a moment Hae Jin thought he met eyes with her.

She could see him? Deciding to confirm his belief, he asked, "You, you can see me, right?"

Hae Jin watched as the woman's eyes widened in shock and suddenly, she begun to shake in fear once again.

However, Hae Jin was not concern about the state of the woman.

He was happy, excited! For the first time since the 6years trapped in this house, someone could see him!

Who was this woman? What was she? Human? Ghost?! Heavens knew, how he now strongly hope for the woman to be human!

If it comes true that she was human, she would be the first human to see him. All these years of living as a ghost, she will be the first human who has see him, hear him and touch him!

If that's possible.

He hope so.
