Day has taken over the night.

Is already morning and Sung Yoon still isn't back. Hae Jin was getting worried about, no, was worried about her.

Those evil ghosts were still out there, probably looking for innocent souls to corrupt and Sung Yoon was one of those innocent souls. She has already been attacked once, he couldn't help but worry.

Sung Yoon has been gone for too long.

Hae Jin was in the living room, seated on the same couch he sat on yesterday. Anxious and worried about his ghost friend.

Last night, Sung Yoon had said she was going to find food for them. Is already the next day and she wasn't back yet!

Did those evil ghosts get to her? Was she lost? Just how far did she go. He was beginning to think maybe she traveled abroad just to get food for them.

*Sigh, he sighed anxiously, lying down on the couch as he stared at the ceiling.

"So lonely" he said, feeling exactly that. He thought he has gotten a little use to being alone but he was wrong. One visit from those two (Sung Yoon and Tae Jin) and he was back to square one. Feeling lonelier than before.

Sung Yoon, and he was back to thinking of her absence. Did she.... run away? Did she leave him behind? He couldn't help but have these negative thoughts.

It was understandable. A ghost who had no idea of his identify, trapped in an old filthy house was just a useless and a burden to have around.

He understood if Sung Yoon left him because of theses reasons but damn!, It still hurt. She should have at least say goodbye!

*Sigh, he sighed again, sitting up on the couch. He couldn't sleep all night, worried about Sung Yoon and....... Tae Jin.......... Okay, he didn't want to talk about the kid!

*Sigh, he sighed, again. Gosh! He was exhausted and sleepy. Sleepy? He was a ghost, right? Why was he sleepy?

He's an idiot, there's no way he'll get answers to all these questions without Sung Yoon around.

'I should just stop thinking about it' he said in mind, deciding not to think about it anymore.

"What time is it anyway?" He asked himself. Hae Jin had no clue of what time it was.

The woman (Who visits once every year) always brought a new calendar for every new year but never a clock or something like that. What's why he didn't know exactly what time it was.

Talking about knowing the year, he had no idea of what day it was because he has lost count.

Also, he didn't have the calendar for this year because the woman hasn't visit yet but it wasn't exactly a big deal. After all, he had last year's calendar and already knew what year it was.

Speaking of the woman, he was getting worried about her again. He hope she was okay. He had a bad feeling about. And....... he was also getting hungry!!! Just where was Sung Yoon?!!!

This kind of situation is where he cursed his inability to get out! Open the door with nothing holding him back!!

............ Wait,....... Open the door........Hae Jin's eyes widened in realisation as he stood up as well, staring at nothing.

Open the door........ Sung Yoon had open the door yesterday when she first came. Sung Yoon was a ghost! How was it possible for her to touch, hold and turn the doorknob!!

Ghosts can't touch physical stuffs after their death?! Well, they could still steal the souls of foods. This has been bothering him a lot but that was important right now!

What was important was that, Sung Yoon could touch physical materials!!

Right at that moment when Hae Jin was questioning himself, the front door opened, Sung Yoon's voice sounding out, "I'm home! With some stole food"

Surprised, 'Sung Yoon' Hae Jin called out her name in mind, before rushing to the front door.

Standing some steps away from Sung Yoon who held two brown bags filled with food, Hae Jin asked, "You, how is it that you can touch the doorknob?" a horrified questioning look on his face.

Sung Yoon smiled, asking, "That's all you ask? I spent the night outside and you're not even worried about me?" Oh, right, where was she all night?

"I'm disappointed in you" Sung Yoon faked a frown, making her way to the living room. Hae Jin watched her worriedly, completely forgetting about his question as Sung Yoon passed by him heading to the living room.

"Ah, so tired" she said, placing the two brown bags (Which contained food) on the center table before taking a seat on one of the couches.

Almost immediately, Hae Jin rushed to her side, sitting on the same couch as her.

"Are you alright?" He asked worriedly, pouting Sung Yoon answered, "I'm alright. Show more concern will you?"

"What do you think I'm doing now?"

"Tsk" Sung Yoon rolled her eyes, "Anyway, sorry for not coming in earlier" Hae Jin folded his arms on his chest, glaring at Sung Yoon, "You better be. I thought you runaway or something"

Sung Yoon frowned, "Now that's not something I want to hear. Just what do you think of me?! I'm not the type to leave someone without saying goodbye. I'm not Chae Joon"

A smile lit on Hae Jin's lips, wow, the issue with Chae Joon leaving without saying goodbye to her was still fresh in mind.

When did that happen anyway?

Looking for an answer to his question, Hae Jin asked, "For how long has it been since Chae Joon left?" Sung Yoon hummed, thinking about his question, "It's been four weeks now" she answered.

A whole four weeks, it's been four weeks and she still hasn't gotten over it? Then again, who was he to say this? He has never experienced this before. Okay more like he didn't remember experiencing one before.

Maybe he will act the same way if he was in Sung Yoon's shoes.

Whatever the case was, he should be more concern about Sung Yoon's long time absence! She only spent the whole night out but to him, it felt like days.

"So, what happened? You were gone all night"

Sung Yoon sighed depressingly, remembering what she went through all night. It was both scary and frustrating.

Just what did she do to deserve this!

'You ignored me!'

'And I'll do it in a heartbeat if I get a chance'

'Great!  Then I'll also create dangerous and scary situations for you, in a heartbeat'

'Please continue the story'

"It was horrible Hae Jin" she said, looking terrified. Seeing this look on her face, Hae Jin couldn't help but worry. What exactly happened to her?

"Hey, what happened?" He asked in a soft calm tone, taking Sung Yoon's hand and squeezing it tight, his thumb rubbing at the back of her hand as a way of comforting her.

Heavens, it was nice being able to touch someone who wasn't himself.

"Tell me" he urged her to. Already curious to know what Sung Yoon went through last night.

Taking a long deep breath, Sung Yoon begun "I...I ran into those evil ghosts last night. It was so horrible Hae Jin" Evil ghosts? Those things again? Sung Yoon, must have gone through a lot. The horrified look on her face and her trembling body was evidence enough.

Now, he felt stupid for thinking Sung Yoon left her for selfish reasons while she was in deep trouble.

'I'm truly stupid' Hae Jin said in mind before focusing on Sung Yoon and her story.

"There were so many of them out there. I was just lucky a good ghost saved me. I had to stay in her house for safety reasons"

"I see" Hae Jin replied, looking at her with that pitied look on his face. He has never encountered with evil ghosts before but even he knew, that it might be horrifying. Sung Yoon's reaction to meeting with them was proof enough.

He pray he never runs into one or more of them (Evil ghosts) because he doesn't want to experience what his ghost friend did.

Deciding to step out of his thoughts and focus on the 'moment', Hae Jin looked up at Sung Yoon, watching as she tried to hold back her tears but it wasn't working. He could tell that much.

"By the way, the good ghost who saved me was an old woman"

"I didn't ask" and Sung Yoon burst out laughter at his reply. He smiled, staring at her. It was much better when Sung Yoon was in a good mood, smiling and laughing.

It made the atmosphere good to live in.

"Oh, you asked a question what was it again?" Sung Yoon asked after the laughter died down, sniffing and wiping the tears at the corner of her eyes.

"Sh***t" Hae Jin exclaimed with widened eyes. He almost, almost? He totally forgot about it.

"You curse too often you know"

"Drop that, tell me. You're a ghost so how is it possible that you can open the door?" He asked, pointing a finger at the direction of the front door.

Laughing amusingly, Sung Yoon said, "Oh, that, didn't I tell you? Ghosts can touch physical materials"

"You didn't!!!" Hae Jin exclaimed angrily. "Oh, I didn't?" Sung said, laughing nervously. Damn! Hae Jin looked scarier than those evil ghosts when he was angry.

Author: I think so too. But I'm not afraid of him.

Sung Yoon: I didn't ask you.

Author: *Sigh, no where is good. Why do people hate Authors so much?

Sung Yoon: Why don't you read the plots again, then you can come back and ask the stupid question you just asked.

Author:.......... This chapter ends here.

Sung Yoon: Say something!!
