The story begins now.

           ********👻👻*****

After sending Tae Jin off, Hae Jin went upstairs in search of his ghost friend, Sung Yoon.

But please note, that, Hae Jin did not set foot outside when he sent off Tae Jin. I'm sure you already, he can't get out of the house.

He only stood a few steps at the entrance door, waving Tae Jin who also waved back as he left the house on his own.

Back to the scene,

At the moment, Hae Jin is heading for the first bedroom in the house in search of Sung Yoon, he can't help but feel like a bastard, a jerk.

He left poor Sung Yoon all day by herself and didn't even bother to check on the lady. Definitely, he was a jerk and a bad friend to have.

Checking the first bedroom, Hae Jin didn't find Sung Yoon, neither in the room nor the bathroom and so, he moved on to the next room, that room also, he got the same result.

The only bedroom left in the house was the master bedroom and at the moment, he stood right outside. Looking sorry and worried.

Was Sung Yoon mad? Was she even alright? She has been by herself all day with no company.

He just hope she didn't leave the house without his notice. Heavens knew, how worried and sorry he felt.

'Knock, Knock' he knocked at the door, saying anxiously, "Are you in there Sung Yoon" but he got no reply. Sung Yoon was definitely mad.

It took about three minutes or so before he got a reply from Sung Yoon, "Come in, is not locked" she said. And Hae Jin didn't find any anger in her tone, however, he can't be sure if she wasn't angry.

Feeling sorry, worried, anxious, Hae Jin hesitatingly walked through the door, entering the room with no effort unlike when he tries to leave the house.

Inside the room, like in the living room and all the other rooms, all the furniture in this room was also covered with white cloths.

When Hae Jin first came here, all the furniture were covered with white cloths. He had no idea why. Neither did he know something about the recent tenants.

Hae Jin has been here (The master bedroom) before but has never stayed for too long. For some reason, he felt like, he was invading someone's privacy every time he came into this room or the other bedrooms and that's why he chose to sleep, stay in the living room.

The master bedroom was dimmed lighted but he could see everything thanks to the rays of the setting sun which shone through the transparent glass windows.

Focusing his attention on Sung Yoon, he found her lying down on the king-sized bed (Which was also covered with a large white cloth) staring at the ceiling with a blank expression.

He couldn't read her at all. He had no idea what Sung Yoon was thinking about and can only hope she wasn't that angry.

"Come closer, I'm not angry" Sung Yoon assured him but Hae Jin wasn't convinced. Even so, he still went closer to the bed, lying down next to Sung Yoon when he reached.

The room was awfully quiet and he didn't like it. He loved it when it was noisy, when Sung Yoon was talking non stop.

Though sometimes he found that irritating.

"The kid left" it wasn't a question, in fact it was more like a statement but Hae Jin answered anyway, "He left". And silence blew again. He hated this. If Sung Yoon was that angry she should say something, scold him, yell at him because he didn't like this form of punishment at all.

"I'm sorry for leaving you all alone for so long Sung Yoon"

"Don't apologize, the same happened yesterday" Right, it did. Yesterday he spent hours talking with Tae Jin until the sun began to set just like today, totally ignoring Sung Yoon without even realising.

"Really, I'm not angry, I'm just glad to see you happy" Sung Yoon said, turning to his direction with a smile. Seeing the smile, Hae Jin breathed out in relief. This time, he was convinced Sung Yoon wasn't angry.

"So, what are you thinking about?"

"About where you could have possibly hidden the food I brought, I'm so hungry" Hae Jin burst out laughter. What the.....and here he was, thinking Sung Yoon was angry for his stupid actions when it wasn't even close to that.

How stupid of him?

Hae Jin thought, scolding himself for over thinking.

"Hae Jin"

Coming out of his thoughts, Hae Jin answered, "Yeah?"

"What do you know about the kid? I mean Tae Jin. What do you know about Tae Jin?" Hae Jin turned his head, staring at the side profile of Sung Yoon as she lied down with a questioning look on his face.

So many questions floating in mind. Questions like, why did Sung Yoon ask about Tae Jin? Did she notice something weird about the kid?

"Well, I only know his hobbies, favorites and what he dislike if that's what you want to know" In fact, this was all he has come to know about Tae Jin so far.

"That's not what I want to know but, is okay. Let's just drop the topic about your kid"

Hae Jin frowned. He didn't like the fact that Sung Yoon dismissed an issue concerning Tae Jin just like that. But he complied, choosing to allow Sung Yoon to come out (With the issue concerning Tae Jin) in her own time.

"Hmm"

"By the way, I have something important to tell you. But first, why don't we switch on the lights? Is dark in here"

She was right. The sun was now set and the room was dark. However, was she forgetting something?

"You know we can't. In the eyes of people around, this house has been abandoned for years. If we switch on the lights they will get suspicious and might even think there are thieves in here. Worst, it might scary the shit out of them"

"And police might get involved as well. I know but still, is getting dark. I don't want to stay in a dark house"

"You have no choice" he answered back. Staying in a house with no electricity and water has become a common thing for Hae Jin.

He was already used to it. That's why he was able to stay in the house alone in the dark, waiting for Sung Yoon all night.

Actually, he didn't exactly need water because he can't cook neither can he bath. He didn't stink at all. Ghosts don't stink.

But judging by the deep frown on Sung Yoon's face, it looks like she was going to have a lot of trouble coping, "If you're scare we can sleep in this room"

Ghosts didn't necessary need sleep like humans did but what can a wandering ghost who has nothing to do execute?

But Hae Jin was a little different, that's how he felt. If he doesn't sleep for 8hours or more like a normal human being, he gets tired, dizzy and weak.

"And if you're still afraid of sleeping in the dark, you can hold my hand while you sleep"

"How old do you think I am? 5? Also, I'm a ghost, what else do I have to fear?" Sung Yoon said annoyingly but even so, she still took Hae Jin's hand, making him smile.

Holding hands with Sung Yoon, Hae Jin could feel how cold her hand was but he ignored it, choosing to pay more attention to the fact that, this was the first time he held hands with someone else.

Every time he touched or held someone's else hand was a first time for him.

"Your hand is warm Hae Jin. How is this possible?"

"I don't know, maybe all ghosts with situations like mine have warm hands"

"That doesn't make sense, we're all dead but, I can accept this logic of yours. Come to think of it, Chae Joon's hands were also warm"

"See, I'm right"

"Hmm"

"So, what's this important thing you want to tell me?"

"Oh, right, I almost forgot about it. You see, when I met that old woman, after she recused me from those evil ghosts, she shared something important with me"

"Oh, and what's that?"

"Ways to deal with evil ghosts and the benefits one gets from it"

"Huh?" Hae Jin exclaimed in shock.
