CHAPTER 56: THE VENOM

Picking up the heavy sword that drags my weight down, I put on the face of a green warrior and thinned my lips.

I can read anger on its face as it looks at me.

"Watch out!" The girl screamed when one of the trolls kicked its stinking foot in my direction.

Reflex is the last thing my body could have as shock invaded my whole system. I couldn't move, I couldn't react.

I just closed my eyes and began accepting my fate. I should've known that I could never be a dark horse, let alone face a group of trolls who want to step on me and erase me from existence.

Waiting for the impact, I stood there frozen. Air blew my hair and brushed my skin, but nothing happened to me. Did I fly? Am I dead again?
