CHAPTER 57: THE CURIOSITY

"You're thinking deep," Serena noticed. "You're not dying anymore."

I snorted at what she said last and gave her a calm expression. "Get ready for the twist because I'm a bad weed, and it will be hard for me to die."

Serena held a small smile on her face as she heard my original tone of talking.

"Imagine it," I said. "I was already hopeless when I felt the cancer eating me from the inside. Like, I'm living the time I had left while being scared that I would leave everything behind."

Sitting inside a cave where the endless sparkling falls gushes from the top of the mountain and onto a cold pool that was never full.

Safe inside, warm, and solemn.

Serena built a blue flame to keep us away from the cold breeze blowing from the outside.

It was a long journey to where we were, but with Serena's charm, she found us the safest place to stay the night.

Away from the darkness, away from any unfortunate situations, and, of course, from any trolls at all.
