39. The Sweetness of Revenge

Andien was gone and Kenan had to work hard to get her back, but he had to postpone his plans because of the massive sale of shares in the company.

"What? You weren't misinformed, were you?" asked Kenan in surprise.

"No, sir. Some shareholders have transferred their shares at below market prices," his assistant informed him.

"Are you sure? Are they crazy to sell their shares at a time when the company is making huge profits?" snapped Kenan sharply.

"I don't know, sir."

"Call a shareholders' meeting immediately and have Mark meet me!" Kenan ordered as he walked into his office.

Outside the office, Kenan saw Tom sitting in the waiting room, as if he was deliberately waiting for Kenan.

"What are you doing here?" Kenan asked Tom.

"Can we talk inside?" Tom asked back.

Kenan nodded and went into his room while Tom walked behind him.
