Avoidance, Too little, Too late

Ross had left graduation practice and immediately went to look for Tippa with no success. When he exited the elevator into the parking garage, there she was walking on the opposite side of the garage. Seeing Tippa made him smile as he began calling her name.

“Tippa!”

But she didn’t hear him as she kept walking toward the exit door.

Ross, for a minute, was mesmerized by her incredible figure. Her in those high heels and jeans, that hugged her body just right. Although it wasn’t her beauty that stopped his breath, it was her eyes. She had the most beautiful doe-shaped eyes he’d ever seen. They were the deepest color of brown. But as he watched her face and body language, he could tell something was wrong. Even at some distance Ross could see she looked distraught. Ross immediately became concerned; he had an irrational desire to fix whatever was wrong.
