Chap 8: Drama 2

Everyone was really interested to see how Lily would handle the situation after seeing her go down. They didn't overestimate her abilities, but she didn't have a formal title to begin with, and they needed to see whether Venn would comply. Under the yellow light, Lily's face was obscured, and no one could tell what she was thinking. Clara observed the incident, smiled, and quietly said:

"It appears Venn doesn't take you seriously either, because so many people leave you alone and dance with other people. Do you know who she is?" Clara shifted her gaze to the girl who was dancing with Venn, and Lily simply stared at her. Clara didn't do much calculating either, and she said slowly:

"She's... She's just a servant girl in Edward's house! Her mother was Edward's housekeeper, and she was raised like a lady and exposed to Venn from a young age! She was normally hanging out with Venn, not expecting to run as far as she did today! Venn's fiancée, Lily, and she dares to gloat in front of you like that? It's despicable!" Clara's words were incendiary.

Lily waited patiently for the song to end. She disliked pomp, but Venn had forced her to accept it this time. I used to talk to you normally, and now I can turn around like that. His attitude fluctuated even more than the weather.

"Venn!" - Clara halted Lliy as she was about to open her mouth to speak. She handed her to Venn and the other girl and took a position across from them.

"It's been a long time since I've seen Clara!"- Venn smiled cordially and shook hands with Clara, who he had known since childhood and with whom he had a solid rapport. Furthermore, Clara was a gifted young lady, and Venn was acquainted with her.

"Venn, it's been about a year since we've seen each other; you're becoming better and better!"- Clara placed a glass of wine on the table in front of him, turned to face the person standing next to him, and then abruptly said:

"Is Julia also here? I haven't seen you in a long time, and you're becoming increasingly attractive!"- Everyone's gaze was drawn to Julia as a result of Clara's words, this face can only be described as delicate to look at, but beautiful praise is a little misleading.

"Thank you, Lady Clara!"- Says the narrator, Julia replied meekly, knowing that, despite Clara's declaration, she would be despised, but she was used to it. She also realized that, aside from their scorn, these ladies were envious of her.

"Venn, who brought you here today, seemed to be taking you seriously! After all, hardly everyone is invited to this celebration, and you were picked as Venn's dance partner, Julia is really fortunate!" " Lily didn't like Clara, but she didn't make her appear like that. Julia had been a humble servant before, and yet she had this privilege, and she boasted in front of others as if she were Cinderella herself?

Lily scowled as she observed the three of them conversing. Clara resembled Venn's fiancée more than she did herself. Is it indirectly insulting you or not that they didn't save your face in front of so many people? Lily had no idea who or what was to blame for Venn's treatment of her, and she warmedly glanced up at him, just as Venn was looking at this side. Angrily, their eyes met, and she tightly pursed her lips before immediately stepping up in front of him, beaming brightly.

"Venn, you brought Julia here to play without telling me so I could pick her up!" - She took Venn's arm, under the surprised eyes of everyone sulking to him. Venn Edward was also startled by her acting, his fiancée is really a professional actor. In just one evening, she performed all kinds of statuses for him, what an interesting girl!

Venn hugged her waist and murmured:

"It's not even because you are running about and refusing to go with me?" - Everyone surrounding them swiftly dispersed as they watched the two of them make intimate gestures, thinking they'd experience the drama again! Despite the fact that it was only a misunderstanding, Venn's offer to another girl to dance, rather than Lily, was enough to cause a stir.

"Hello, my name is Lily, and I'm Venn's girlfriend."- Lily discreetly placed her hand in front of Julia, asserting her authority. Julia did not answer to her, instead raising her head to seek Venn's advice. Lily bemoaned the fact that this girl was not simple, and that her pathetic expression wounded others.

" Venn, you see. Julia doesn't appear to care about you!"- Clara stared at this situation and felt terribly uneasy in her hear. The more passionate Lily was, the more she shook Venn's hand. Venn's easy going attitude with Lily make Clara amazing. Venn had never been that intimate with a girl since she first met him. She consoled herself with the thought that he treated Lily well because of their bound marriage.

"She's shy! Don't pay attention! Julia has been afraid to interact with outsiders since childhood, unable to be as active as you!"- Venn said it was like protecting Julia, but Lily didn't leave it in her heart, who he liked anyway, who he cared about didn't affect her. As long as he doesn't embarrass her and her family.

Lily looked around and saw that everyone had disappeared and no longer listened to their stories, and pushed Venn's hand out. She looked up and looked up, and saw the edwardian couple looking down here with angry eyes and smiled. Looks like Venn's going to be in trouble.

"Venn, if that's the case then get to know Julia! Looks like Dad has something to tell you too!" - She winked at Venn then pulled Julia's hand out of the circle. Lily sensed Julia resisting her, but so what? She's the fiancée recognized by Venn, Julia's back before many people pursue him, this really has to be taught carefully.

"Be careful!" - Venn reminded Julia a sentence then quickly left. He knew his parents were bound to be displeased with what he had done. Now that he thought about it, he felt that he was too emotional.
