Inside the mind of Lucien

Lucien's POV

Her brown hair is entangled into my bare arm. She sleeps soundly, and I shall curse myself if she was awake because of me. Gently putting her back on the bed after freeing myself from her locks, I realize we were kind of sweating. Smiling nonetheless, I see her turn in her sleep. Deciding to get a few things cleared from my thoughts, I get up to walk towards the balcony.

Filling myself a glass of red wine, I sip the savory sweet flavor which eases my mind. Just a bit. I wish there was a sure way to see through the future and predict things right away.

Since morning, there has been an undying thought inside me.

"What if the closest person to you betrays you?" It was like my inner consciousness was fighting against the world. When that question came to my mind, the only person I thought of was Laura.

She has become the epicenter of my whole existence. I didn't care about the world. Heck! I was even ready to give up on the title of the King for her! I am that bound to her
