Woke up

Seraphine really suffered from a shock early in the morning. Not only did she wake up in between of her parents, she even had breakfast with them.

Although her father barely said anything to her, just recalling about him patting her head was enough to render her speechless.

She really did not know how to respond to that.

As for her mother, she tried to make conversation with and show her care for Seraphine, but Seraphine was not able to bring herself to accept that. 

She kept things to the minimum as much as possible.

Seraphine would prefer it better if her parents had neglected her completely, but no matter how blunt that was, she would not be able to let something harsh as that out.
