CHAPTER 12 Watch Me Eat.

It was close to 10 PM when Laura woke up from her sleep. She sat upright wondering where she was for a minute.

“Hello sleepyhead!” Her head took a quick turn to her left and stared at the handsome ebony man who sat on one of sofas, his eyes focused on his laptop.

“For how long have I been asleep?” She shrugged and asked.

“ Not for long, just two hours. When I got done preparing your food, I found you where already in a deep slumber. I tried to wake you up but you pushed me away and your snore became quite louder.” He gave out a half-suppressed laugh.

“ I don’t snore!” Laura felt a little embarrassed but kept her cool.

“ No, you don’t. I was just kidding. Do you want to eat now or should I pack the food for you?”

“Just pack it, it’s already late.” Laura looked at the wall clock and it read 10 PM.

She stood up from the sofa and went to see what Frank was working on his laptop.
