CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: AT THE CELL

He fell on another car, and rolled to the floor, feeling something crack in his anatomy.

It would have killed him if he was human, but he was a werewolf, and he would be fine, so he got up once again and dashed across the road and into the woods, leaving behind the stunned drivers who had hit him. It caused a commotion, and everyone wondered who got hit by two cars and still had enough energy to run.

Elliott stopped after running for forty yards and fell to the floor, his eyes rolling in his head. His human form was weak already, and his arm was bent at an unnatural angle. He also felt like his ribs were on fire, and so he lay down, waiting to heal.

The memory of Alisa and Jayden’s kiss came into his head again.

He lay down and screamed as loud as he could, the pain in his heart combining with the pain from his broken bones healing. This emotion was strong, and so he morphed into his wolf form, his golden brown fur gleaming in the moonlight, all his bones in place.
