Reconnecting Threads

A couple of days later, Skylar finally managed to reconnect with Megan, a close friend from college. The reunion was filled with excitement as Megan hauled Skylar to her home, where her husband, Tom, another member of their college friend circle, greeted her warmly, their two years old son, on his hips.
