Farren's Point of View

He looked peaceful when he was asleep. Every muscle in his face relaxed. His chest expanded and collapsed at an even rate. It was well into the morning but Camilo was still beside me, dreaming away. No work to rush him. No one barging in for meetings. Just us in this blissful moment.

It brought a smile to my face. Banished my fears of yesterday. He was beside me and I was no longer alone. Safe. Sound.

His hair was plastered to his forehead from sweat. Curled in every direction imaginable. Jeans rode high on his hips. Shirt tucked almost beneath his chin. Even in his messiest state, I thought he was handsome. Could trace every curve of his abs with my fingertips.

It was a tempting thought, one that brought heat to my cheeks. But that would be considered assault and I had no intention of becoming that kind of person. Although, he looked like a meal ready to be devoured. I trailed his stomach down. Could see the top of his V-line before his clothes devoured his bod
