Farren's Point of View

The airport in Lupitum wasn't as crowded as an ordinary airport. Maybe it was because no one ever entered Lupitum and left. Or it was because no one ever showed enough interest in coming to this run-down city. Either way, it made my task of finding the correct gate easier.

Nerezza and her family had left last night. I had gotten her call after Rafael and I had cleaned up my new place to the best of our abilities. He had helped me move things around. Settled in the new appliances and kitchenware. Shoved around the couches until I was happy with where they stood. Although, everything reeked of being new. It was an unpleasant sort of scent.
