We had left her in the capable hands of Isabelle. Prayed that Camilo would keep his distance whilst we headed over to Farren's house to tell her family about what had transpired. Beg them not to take her back to Ireland after what had transpired.

Priamos was unlike his older brothers, or so I had heard. He would whick Farren away in a heartbeat. His protective nature toward his sister slowly bled into the rest of Nerezza's mates as well, with the ex-concubine being the most protective of them all. At least she had given us the approval to keep her here for now.

Not that Farren needed anyone telling her what to do. But having the family's approval was a relief.

Neither Alejandro nor I wanted to keep her against her will. Trap her within the confines of the Amador manor. Farren was a free spirit, to say the least. Trapping her would only anger her. Drive her away from the three of us.
