Chapter 61

“Hold on a minute,” Judit, one of the house keepers in Bret’s house, said hastily and rushed to get the front door leaving what she was attending to in the kitchen, wondering who it was that was ringing the doorbell rather ferociously and why no other housekeeper was available to answer the door.

“Is your boss in?” a tall slim man asked rather rudely immediately the door swung open, peering rather hard, down at Judit for not answering the door quickly.

“Excuse me, do I know you?” Judit asked, trying not to be rude to the stranger at the door. She has not recalled seeing this face before and wondered why he spoke to her in the manner that he did.

“No you don’t, now answer the question, is your boss in?” the man asked authoritatively again in a deep tone, his brows furrowed at Judit.

Judit clapped her hands together in front of her, trying to get a hold of herself and not knowing how he got past the security men at the gate with such an attitude. She had dealt with so many guests in her
