Chapter 63

“They have returned,” Monalisa said to Clara who was sitting next to her in the slaves camp as soon as she heard the sound of the vampires who had gone out before, her brows furrowed, hating that they sounded happy.

She was feeling hopeful when Hamilton told her that he was going hunting late last night knowing that they were going to hunt some werewolves. Werewolves as she had heard were no easy target so she hoped that they would not return but hearing how happy they sounded showed that they succeeded.

“Your wish didn’t come true Monalisa,” Gabby, who was working next to them said in a whisper, her face saddened. She had hoped that Monalisa’s wish would come true so that they could try and escape from viper city just as Monalisa had planned.

“You do not have to be heartbroken about this Monalisa, I believe the opportunity would come,” Clara said, seeing how bitter Monalisa looked.

“When will that day be?” Monalisa snapped but in a low tone in order not to be heard by some other vamp
