Chapter 26

I stood up within the center seat in front of the painting I designed myself with the help of the history book of Paradis Empire. 

The portrait was the image of the Imperial Crown facing towards the bloody sword, the scenery of blood dripping from the sword while lying on the elegant table. 

The Imperial Crown depicted in the painting is often suggested to signify the pursuit of empire. However it also represents the claim made by the Paradians that they were descended from the Paradise of Minoan, who was by legend descended from Fyudor Pedelian, the mythical founder and first king of Paradis. 

I glanced at the necklace I made from the old crest of Paradis Empire, the pendant of the lost Royal dynasty and compared it to the new crest which is from the Sylvestre. 

The blue and white royal rose was created by combining the emblem of the House of Sylvestre (the blue rose) with that of the House of Valerian (the white rose).
