Elijah P.O.V.My head is pounding, and everything seems to be moving in slow motion in my head. I can hear voices around me, but no one stands out. Fenris is pacing, giving me a massive headache, but I do not know what has him so agitated. I feel myself slipping into another dark place, away from the real world and its problems. Isabella P.O.V. We’ve been held in the hellhole for a couple of days at least. Conan has come and gone, bragging and making snarky disgusting comments. Isabella P.O.V. As I feel the ground under my feet once again, everything clears from the combined smoke from the witches, and when I look around a strange and strained sound makes me swirl around. Elijah is in the hospital bed, while Jenna is already on her feet and in Alex’s arms. Alex and I exchange a look before his eyes cloud over, and the room is overrun by nurses and doctors. Alex P.O.V. The room falls silent when Isabella walks out. She has a point, but I can’t help but feel a bit helpless - again. I know what I did, how I acted and the way I pushed my sister from me back then was wrong, but she is right in her assessment of me doing what I had to, to survive and not be cast out myself. I am sure if I had taken her side up front, then the Beta’s would not have hesitated to give me the same treatment, maybe even drag the past into it. Elijah P.O.V. While Isabella is talking to her parents and her brother, I keep planning. This battle is going to shake the entire community of werewolves. Everything we ever believed is about to get a push out the door. I know this is a lot to most people, and with Isabella and I crowned as the rulers of everyone, we also need to show the other Alpha’s and Luna’s that we are not going to change the way things work now. An Alpha is still responsible for their own pack, but we will have to change some things. For example we need to have a meeting with the Council and all the pack leaders - and soon. We need them on our page, and we need them to agree upon the changes I have in mind. I still need to speak to Isabella about this, but I am certain we are going to be on the same page about the things I want changed.
