Elijah P.O.V. The meeting goes forward after we agree who is going to be Captain and Second in command. When they are signed, they both leave with the promise of me and Isabella coming this afternoon, maybe early evening to announce the change in ranking to the guard. Isabella P.O.V. It’s been a week since we met with the Coven leaders, and Selene surprised us in the conference room. The week has on one side been long and tedious with endless meetings, and phone calls for various Alpha’s - either asking to meet, swearing us allegiance on the phone, or swearing to dethrone us and make sure the world is ‘set right’. We have been taking nightly runs in our wolf forms, making sure Emerald and Fenris have some mate time, and build their bond strong. Elijah P.O.V.My head is pounding, and everything seems to be moving in slow motion in my head. I can hear voices around me, but no one stands out. Isabella P.O.V. We’ve been held in the hellhole for a couple of days at least. Conan has come and gone, bragging and making snarky disgusting comments. Isabella P.O.V. As I feel the ground under my feet once again, everything clears from the combined smoke from the witches, and when I look around a strange and strained sound makes me swirl around.
