They feared her. The Tatiana. Her brothers, Uncles, and Father were protective, but she wanted to protect herself. She was ‘special’, she was ‘different’. That was what Uncle Silas said. Elvenia did not know what that meant, but she wanted no part of it. She wanted to run in the woods with her brothers, play in the trees with her Fae friends, and dance the night away. But those outside her mom’s circle were mean sometimes. So, her knees knocked together as she approached her mother.
