Anastasia was waiting for Alex to wake up, whose head was wrapped in a bandage. The doctor had earlier told her about the CT scan reports. Luckily, Alex did not get any major injuries. Anastasia grasped the hand on Alex and kept caressing it.
Her father, Lucas, came to the hospital. "Ana!" He pronounced her name and then looked at Christos. He greeted him and then looked at Alex, who was lying unconscious. "What happened to Alex? Nicholas is in jail. What happened?" Lucas asked.
"Dad," Anastasia started to cry when Christos narrated the incident to Lucas, who was shocked to learn about that. He looked at his daughter. How could Nicholas let it happen? Lucas thought.
Christos had called Stavros earlier, who also arrived at the hospital. "Chris, what happened?" Stavros asked when he took him away.
