The next day when she had come for work, she headed straight to his office. She had to get off with the apology and at least have some peace in her mind. Getting to the office, Enoch this time welcomed her more calmly than before. He did not eve stare at her anymore, almost as if he was bowing before her and giving her respect. Inside, she found Ryan seated, busy with his work. He looked so regal and royal as he sat there and focused on his work.
His side profile, eye catching. She felt herself swallow as she looked at him. He raised his head, to meet her eyes. He still looked stern, and maybe a little angry at her after yesterday. “Good morning, sir” she said as she moved towards him. “Really, now we have come back to sir Leila?”
Okay, now she did not even know what the hell was going on. “Um, I’m sorry about yesterday. I did not mean to insinuate that you are a liar. At that time, I did not even know what I was thinking. In as much as it feels out of the ordinary, I am going to believe it, because even I, something that would not be expected to exist at such a time exists. Can we call it a truce please?”
Ryan watched her as she moved her lips and spoke. She looked so damn cute it was impossible to even stay mad at her. looking at her he could not even remember why he had even been angry at her. coming from a trance, he stood up and held her hand. “It is okay Leila. Besides I was also at fault, I should not have gotten angry with you. It is understandable that you thought whatever I was saying was nonsense. I mean it sounds so outrageous that if you even went and told someone else, they would not believe it. Moreover, I’m glad that you now believe in me.
And I cannot be angry at my soulmate can I.” he said as he squeezed her hand smoothly. Her hand felt warm and soft. Her face so beautiful it was blinding. Moving his eyes to her lips was a mistake. And then subconsciously or not, she moved on to lick her lips. Making them look even juicier. Lips had never looked so sexy he felt like he would die if he did not have a taste just one.
Swallowing deeply, he looked at her eyes. She looked as though she was lost, and he wanted to really kiss her. more than he had ever wanted to do anything else. He felt his mouth go dry at the thought. Moving his head, he finally reached her lips. Juicy, she smelt so good, he had a heady feeling as he took in her scent. It was all natural and subtle, it must be her body, not even soap.
She did it again, right when he wanted to kiss her. she moved her tongue to lick her lips. She also swallowed loudly. At this point, it felt as though everything was amplified in large dimensions. Her soft skin. The rise and fall of her veins as the blood rushed through her skin. Her sharp intake of breath when his lips finally touched hers.
There could never be a word strong enough to explain what happened then. It was almost as though there was electricity passing through them. It left him feeling paralyzed, yet his heart beat rose in crescendo, drumming through his chest with the intensity of west African drums. She could even feel it as she sat close to him. And then, finally, they locked lips and kissed. She did not know for how long they did. But she did not want to stop.
Every part of her body was on fire. Ryan’s male musky scent drugging her, acting as though it was an aphrodisiac. Tasting his lips was on a very different level. She felt like she was home. Where she was supposed to be and with whom. Her body felt foreign to her, blood rushing to her mind or out of her mind maybe. She was totally carried away in the moment and she wanted more.
She was fast becoming excited, Ryan too. She could feel something poking her at her stomach. To be honest, she did not even know when they had even stood. Standing there, her pressed against the wall, Ryan ravishing her lips like tomorrow did not exist. It was a very seductive atmosphere, her heart, now loudly beating. As they kissed, she could feel desire pooling like bolts right from her mouth. She wanted his hands everywhere, her nipples already hardened to pointy sharp points, now becoming a little bit painful. Her core felt heated, like the place had a heart of its own thumping. She could even feel her panties getting wetter as they went on.
It was at this point that they had to stop for some air. She felt weak as she stood there, and if Ryan removed his hands from her, she was sure she would fall flat face on the ground. Taking deep breaths, they moved towards the sofa. When Ryan finally moved his hands from her, she felt at a loss, as though she had lost something somehow. The cold hit the place where he had been holding her, which now jolted her. what the hell had just happened. It was crazy, her whole body buzzing with so much desire it was kind of overwhelming.
Now, her dreams alternated from the strange dream and erotic dreams of being with Ryan. When she dreamt, they went further than just kissing, and this was building so much tension within her that every time they met, the atmosphere crackled with desire. Maybe she should let go of the idea that they date like normal couples. There was nothing normal about them anyway. She was an existence not expected to be in this present world, normalcy be damned.Things had already reached where they had with Ryan and besides, it was not like she had anything against him. So that day, she sent him a message and they made plans to go visit his parents during the weekend. maybe all this would shade light on her origins, or maybe learn what the hell was going on with her. concerning her work, nowadays she had felt inspired to write more towards the romantic side of life than anything else. It was like she was full of romance and good will since she met Ryan. And she also liked it. Of co
The whole compound looked festive as they alighted from the car. The woods covering the palace so fresh and inviting that she could feel the stirrings of a desire to run through it. The servants received them and went on to report them. They had arrived just about lunchtime and were taken directly to the dining table. There, they met Estella and Thapelo, dressed majestically in an inviting manner. They looked as majestic as ever. The place looked festive as they had decorated the rooms. It looked out of this world. The large chandelier hanging from the top, sending soft light downwards. The huge windows by the sides drawn, providing sunlight through. The place looked sophisticated as well as comfortable. Estella and Thapelo stood and walked towards them.“Good afternoon son, I trust your journey was, okay?” said Estella as she stood on her tiptoes to kiss Ryan on the cheek. Afterwards, she turned to her and hugged her warmly. “And this must be Leila,
After lunch, Ryan took Leila on a tour around the pack. They went back to the place where the warriors were being trained and she could feel her blood raising. Almost as if she was a warrior. At that moment, while they were practicing, it felt as though something was controlling her. showing her how to move with dexterity. With a clarity she had never experienced, she found herself move towards the warriors. Her movements not fixed or learned.Fighting, blood thirst echoed through her mind turning her eyes bloodshot red, with her iris elongating into thin slits, when she transformed, she did not even know it. Everything came in small details, the breath, the positions, every weakness detailed before her. she moved and leapt, the arteries pulsing before her. within a few seconds, the warriors were laying down, panting and if she had not had mercy, most of them would be lying hurt. It confused her. lyra, her inner wolf was excited, almost like she had an aphrodisiac.Aft
By the time Ryan came up, he found her already asleep. She slept curled on the bed, occupying just one portion of the bed, leaving the other larger part extensively unused. Sitting on his bed, he felt a headache beginning to form. The Victorians were becoming stronger. The presence of a healer had set them on a higher pedestal and now they wanted more. They wanted war. This issues really came at a bad time and he knew that he had to put his priorities right. They could not just keep on letting the Victorians push them around. They had to make a statement of power.Reducing his clothes to his briefs, he climbed onto the bed and held her in his arms. She was deep asleep, as shown by her soft snores. She turned and hugged him back tightly. This did make him feel important. Like she could actually depend on him. On the other hand, he was surer than ever before that she was the savior, they had all been waiting for. As fate had it, she was meant to be there with them, in this pack
Leila woke up nestled in Ryan’s arms, which now felt like steel. She could already feel the chirpings of the birds. And the smell of dawn. Everything felt invigorating. There was so much that was going on, and at a fast pace at that, but she was not scared, she felt liberated. Looking at Ryan who was now sleeping peacefully on the bed, she could not help but blush as she remembered what had gone down the previous night.Heartbeat increasing, she sat up and hid her face on her palms. She could feel his hot breath on her abdomen. Everything that went on last night had her rethinking her relationship with Ryan. The way his golden eyes had captivated her, drawing her into his world. The way he had moved up her body, tasting every part of her as though savoring a delicious dessert. The small kisses that he peppered along her body, making her shiver. Goosebumps developing along the path he trailed as his warm breath met her skin. Every time he had moved his lips from her skin
Ryan watched her as she walked down the aisle towards him. It still felt surreal how a handful of days ago, he had never even met her, but now, she was coming to him. They were to be united under the goddess of love, blessed to carry royalty in their blood. The path was lined with white pillars, on top of which there were vases of flowers. Each vase holding a mix of flowers. They all looked exotic, and he could imagine how carefully they had been sorted. But no matter how exotic they looked; they did not hold a candle to her. No, his Leila looked like an angel dropped from heaven. When he had heard that she was on the aisle, no, it was not heard, when he had felt her scent. His blood had started rushing wildly. Heartbeat increasing with excitement, today she would be his. Then he lifted his eyes slowly, which rested on the hem of her dress. The dress was long enough to cover her feet but the occasional rising of the dress as she walked allowed him to spot the leather sandals
“Hey, wake up Hun, brought you breakfast.” That was the sound Leila woke up to. She had been dead asleep for as long as she could remember. As the soft caresses of his voice entered her ear, she found herself trying to wake up. Her body felt like lead. Like heavyweights had been placed all over her. Leila’s eyes felt sticky as though they had been glued together using the strongest glue there is.Struggling to sit up, she heard herself groan as every part of her body resisted movement. As her eyes finally opened, first into small slits, and as the cold air passed through them, now fully awake. She started recalling. Yesterday had been her wedding day. Indeed, they had gotten married, but things did not go all through as they had expected. She moved her eyes to rest lazily on now her husband Ryan, who looked all fresh and crisp and wondered how it was that he did not feel tired. Yesterday had been so tiring, only being able to get some sleep in the wee
The biggest limiting thing for the current her now was that she could not understand the thoughts of the other members of her pack. Looking around her, she felt her heart thump, as that ominous feeling in her heart kept increasing. It felt as though something terrible would happen to her though she had no idea what. Her mind working clearly in a bid to make clear calculations towards the probability of her killing the healer, she underwent a berserk moment. Where all her thoughts were pulled towards one place. she had sensed a strong killing intent coming from that man that had silently appeared on the other side, at the same time, there was a familiarity that arose from her deepest parts. She could not afford to be sidelined at this moment, and therefore she made a decision that seemed unwise. She would attack everyone there. If she did eventually get to the healer well and good. But one thing she was sure of was that any chance she got, she should kill that man.
