palace abduction?

Leila woke up nestled in Ryan’s arms, which now felt like steel. She could already feel the chirpings of the birds. And the smell of dawn. Everything felt invigorating. There was so much that was going on, and at a fast pace at that, but she was not scared, she felt liberated. Looking at Ryan who was now sleeping peacefully on the bed, she could not help but blush as she remembered what had gone down the previous night.

Heartbeat increasing, she sat up and hid her face on her palms. She could feel his hot breath on her abdomen. Everything that went on last night had her rethinking her relationship with Ryan. The way his golden eyes had captivated her, drawing her into his world. The way he had moved up her body, tasting every part of her as though savoring a delicious dessert. The small kisses that he peppered along her body, making her shiver. Goosebumps developing along the path he trailed as his warm breath met her skin. Every time he had moved his lips from her skin had her nearly making a vocal protest.

Then he had reached her midrib, licking along the way while tracing his fingers along the mound of her breasts. Giving a hint of what was to come and yet never diving to taste the price. Every careful kiss placed as he blew warm breath across her nipple. The warmth causing the nipple to pucker up. The way he had driven her insane with his nicks and kisses. The things he had done to her, her heart palpitated every moment she thought of.

They had not consummated yet, they wanted to wait for the wedding day, but she had done a lot of work. Looking at her red hand, she could not help but think how much of a bully Ryan really was. He had said that when she helped him with her hand, it would only take a few minutes before he was satisfied. Even then, they had taken nearly an hour, her hand long tired. Looking at her hands she felt like crying, even though the man had offered to massage her hand afterwards.

Looking at the sleeping man, she felt satisfied. Just as she made to stand from the bed, his eyelashes flattered and he was awake. He pulled her back on the bed and held her in a strong grip. “Morning sunshine, where are you going.” He said as he massaged her hand. “Hmph, you even dare ask, I will not tell you. Leila said as she glared at him.” Leila said as she attempted to move away from him.

He knew that she still felt aggrieved from yesterday, so he could not afford to offend her anymore. Looking at her, he pulled her even closer and whispered into her ear. “I’m sorry for yesterday love. It won’t happen again.” Even as he said those words, he could feel his eyelid twitching. He could not keep that promise but for now, how would say anything to just have her okay with him.

“Come-on, smile for me Hun,” he said as he kissed her hand, finger by finger. ‘I was in the wrong, I will always listen to you.’ Hearing him keep on talking in such a vulgar manner had her spotting a blush that tinted nearly her entire cheeks red. “Humph! who wants your apologies.” Leila said as she stepped away from him. She felt childish doing this, yet at the same time she felt good behaving like that.

When she got to the door, she faced him and stuck her tongue towards him then ran off. This had Ryan laughing before he heard her suddenly scream. When he moved to see what was happening, he was taken by some of the maids in the house. Seeing that she was moving with maids from the palace, he also relaxed and allowed those around him to drag him about. He did not even understand what was going on.

They brought him into the dressing room where they had him freshen up. Afterwards, they started a long process of cleaning his nails, attending to him like a king. His nails were clipped short, painted with a shiny clear paint. They then chose a black and burgundy tuxedo and had him put on. Then his shoes. When he eventually stood to look at himself in the mirror, he looked spic and span.

On the other hand, when the maids took Leila away. They went to help her get ready. When they had prepared a bath, she threw them out to bath by herself. She was too embarrassed, considering how rough Ryan had been the previous night. She had several Hickes marking her neck. She felt like digging herself into a hole and burying there.

The bath was relaxing, having been mixed with rose water solution. It felt refreshing as she bathed, soothing. she felt pampered. Moving from the water, she was taken to an adjacent dressing table, where the maids took work into their own hands. It was like a scene out of a celebrity preparing to present before people. The massaged her legs as they applied lotion, while another person did her hair.

They waxed her feet, and arms, and the nick and picking almost had her screaming the place down, if she had not seen the finished product. But before that, something else had stolen her heart. A simple elegant gown, that was as soft as silk. This had her heart thumping, almost like love at first sight. When they helped her into the dress, she felt her hands sweat with anticipation. Turning to look at the mirror, she felt all breath escape her.

It was not just the dress, no, she looked different. She even felt it. She felt regal, mature, responsible and the same time fun. The maids had been excited as they talked about the preparations that were still ongoing. Apparently, their wedding would be held today, on a Sunday. She felt giddy and excited. The dress was held on her shoulders by what looked like rings before dropping to cover her bust modestly. Then, the waist was cinched, leaving the rest of the dress to dop down in ripples, making her look like a fairy.

She would be getting married to Ryan today. Breathing in, she sat back on her chair. Everything felt surreal. Moving at a fast pace, and yet she did not feel any ill feeling towards that. On the other hand, what disturbed her mind was the constant doom she could feel from within her heart. But come what may, she would face each day at a time.
