It was like a hoax when their Mum hurried to the house after Sarah notified her about Christabel's head cut, including what happened in details and she suggested they leave the house for the Johnsons mansion. The shock was raw and sudden.

Sarah and Christabel waited, hoping their Mum will burst into throaty and rambunctious laughter and tell them it was a sick joke, a ridiculous gimmick, a lewd farce, but it never came. Not even when they packed a few basic loads needed for the visit.
