Chapter 20 - Jared

Shit! I had left Rowen asleep in my bed when I picked up the call from Summer. Honestly, she’s the only one that could pull me away from Rowen at that point. Where Rowen has always been the male I’ve been into the most, Summer has always been the she-wolf.

At first, I thought it was just because she was like another sister to me. I’ve always been really protective of her, making sure that none of the other pups picked on her with her flame red hair. She and I spoke nearly as much as she and Chris did as pups and the three of us, along with Rowen, Alexander, and Jacob were always together whenever they visited the Artemis area.

Well…that was until Summer hit puberty. Yeah, puberty hits wolves hard. It’s a lot more dramatic, waiting until our wolves come and we go from gangly kids to hot, muscled, curvy movie star types in a matter of weeks. And when Summer hit puberty….Let’s just say that I thank the Goddess that I had about 6 months of working on keeping my wolf under contr
