Chapter 113

Alton's POV

I held her until she calms down and when she broke off the hug I stared at her face intently.

I was about to wipe her tears when she took a step back.

"I have to close the store,"

Solana is in a hurry to leave me but I held her hand stopping her from leaving.

"I'll help you," I offered.

"I am fine Alton, just stay away from me,"

Those words broke me again but despite that, I manage to smile and nod my head. I will let her do what she wants.

You made a deal with her Alton so fucking stick with that. You have to give her the space that she needs, that's all she is asking so why can't you give her that?

"Thank you for helping me," she said before she removed my hold and walked towards her store.

I watched Solana as she talked to Briana.

I clenched my fist tightly stopping myself from getting near her and from helping her.

I need to control myself and keep my distance just like what she wants.

"Alton, can I talk to you please?"
